(There’s no real reason for this video – though this could be a good metaphor for the rest of the season for the Blackhawks.)

Dallas was probably the surprise team out of the West this year — quickly moving up to the top of the Pacific Division and the conference. But after the bloodbath that was the game versus the Bruins (four fights in the first minute and a half!), they’ve slid into a three-game funk. Hopefully, the Blackhawks can take advantage of this tonight.

Not only do we get to watch Marty Turco take on his old team in Dallas, we also get to watch the debut of the newest Blackhawk, Michael Frolik. Make us proud, guys.

DAL: Forward Raymond Sawada (broken nose and shoulder injury) is listed as questionable, while former Blackhawk Adam Burish (facial injury) is on injured reserve.

Marty Turco, CHI: “Pretty excited about it. My family is going to come on down, and we’ll see some old friends. It’s not that far removed.” (ESPN Chicago)

Steve Ott, DAL: “It’s going to be exciting. When you get to play against a friend and compete against a friend on a different level it definitely makes it exciting.” (ESPN Chicago)
