It’s not just points on the line any more (though those are really nice to have, so get two of them tonight). If you win, not only do you keep yourself in the running for a playoff spot — you also mathematically eliminate both the Blue Jackets and the Blues, which means taking out two division rivals in one fell swoop and two less teams to mathematically screw up your chances. This would be a good thing, right? Right!
So, please, I beg of you — win tonight. Again.
