Uhhh.

God.

What do you expect me to say? It’s the Blue Jackets, for God’s sake. Look at that record. Anything I could say about them would make me feel like I’m picking on the slow kid.

This game has all the makings of a trap. The Blackhawks need to play like they actually want to win, unlike last night. Will they, though?

Previous Game

Chicago lost to Carolina 3-0 on Friday.

Columbus lost to Buffalo 4-2 on Thursday.

Injury Report

CHI: NONE.

CBJ: Forwards Kristian Huselius (pectoral surgery), Jared Boll (broken thumb) and Jeff Carter (broken foot), defensemen Marc Methot (broken thumb) and Radek Martinek (concussion),  and goaltenders Mark Dekanich (ankle) and Curtis Sanford (groin) are all out. (nhl.com) Wow.

Quoted

Joel Quenneville, CHI: “We got dominated in all areas of the game. We weren’t very good tonight. They were a more determined team, and it was clear from the outset. … I didn’t like how we played.” (nhl.com)

James Wisniewski, CBJ: “We can’t buy a break. If we cut down the number of mistakes, we are going to win more than we lose. We make three mistakes tonight and the puck’s in the back of the net.” (nhl.com)
