Stalberg Money Shots: Blackhawks 4, Blue Jackets 1

The Blue Jackets out-hit, out-shot, and won more faceoffs — but couldn’t out-score.

And you know why? Because the Blue Jackets are still fundamentally terrible.

Okay, I’m sick and tired, so this is going to be a very short recap.

Viktor Stalberg put up two goals. He now has seven points in four games, and is tied with Patrick Kane in goals scored. Just let that sink in a bit.

Marian Hossa and Patrick Sharp each scored one.

Dave Bolland had two assists.

Most importantly, though, Corey Crawford had a damn good game, stopping 37 of 38 shots.

So, despite not playing their best, the Blackhawks still pasted the Blue Jackets — and is the first team in the NHL to reach 50 points.

All is right with the world.

Oh, and one more thing:

Congrats, John Scott.
