Montador Activated From IR

Steve Montador was activated from Injured Reserve today, making him available to play against the Red Wings tomorrow.

This means that Dylan Olsen was sent down to the Rockford IceHogs. Olsen had four shots on goal, five hits, and one blocked shot in two games with the Blackhawks.

I’m glad that Montador is back. Not only will he hopefully wake up the defense from its coma, but I can go back to drunkenly yelling at “Monty Pylon,” because I’m 12.

FTC Disclaimer: Verizon gave a group of bloggers the Motorola XOOM to use for our sites, which is what I used to dash off this article while at a friend’s place sans laptop. However, the words and opinions expressed are my own. Especially the nickname above. Trust me — Verizon wants nothing to do with that.
