February was a great month for the IceHogs as they went 9-0-1-1. They were looking to keep their momentum rolling into March as they headed down to Oklahoma to take on the Oklahoma City Barons to end week 22 of the AHL schedule. To start week 23, the Hogs faced off against the Rochester Americans back home at the BMO Harris Bank Center in Rockford.
The IceHogs played in three Midwest Division games to end week 21 and begin week 22 of the AHL schedule. Two of the three games were at the BMO Harris Bank Center in Rockford as the IceHogs took on the Chicago Wolves and the Milwaukee Admirals. The other contest saw the IceHogs travel to Iowa to take on the Wild.
Week 20 of the AHL schedule featured three games for the IceHogs against two Midwest Division opponents.
The IceHogs hosted two games on Saturday and Sunday at the BMO Harris Bank Center to wrap up week 19 of the AHL schedule.
The IceHogs became very familiar with the Milwaukee Admirals in week 17 of the AHL schedule as they faced their rivals to the North three nights in a row.
Week 15 and the beginning of week 16 of the AHL schedule had the IceHogs playing on home ice for three contests. They took advantage and were able to earn 5 of 6 points at the BMO Harris Bank Center.
The IceHogs finished the 2013 portion of the AHL season with 3 games, 2 of which were against Midwest Division rivals. But, these 3 games though did not go the Hogs’ way by any means.
The IceHogs faced a 3-in-3 set this past weekend for the first time in a while as they took on the Oklahoma City Barons at the BMO Harris Bank Center for 2 games and then traveled out to Iowa to take on the Wild for one game.
The IceHogs took on the Charlotte Checkers down in the Queen City during week 10 of the AHL schedule. While it wasn’t a completely perfect trip, it was still a very successful one for the visitors.
The IceHogs finished up week 9 of the AHL schedule, along with the extended Thanksgiving weekend—with home-and-home match-ups against their I-90 rivals, the Chicago Wolves. These 2 games had a little of everything, including flying teddy bears and hats, as well as a Rockford victory.
